Mr. Cruz is one of this country's most produced Cuban-American writers. Tony Kushner's plays include A Bright Room Called Day, Angels in America, Slavs!, and Homebody/Kabul. He wrote the screenplay for the film version of Angels in America, which aired in December 2003 on HBO. Mr. Kushner is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and two Tony Awards for Best Play. Neil LaBute is a writer, director, and playwright whose body of work often explores the darker side of power. His films include In the Company of Men, Your Friends and Neighbors, Nurse Betty, Possession, The Shape of Things, a film adaptation of his play by the same title, and the upcoming film Vapor. Terrence McNally was most recently represented on Broadway with the revival of his play Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune and with the book for The Full Monty. He won his fourth Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical for Ragtime. Mr. McNally won the Tony in 1996 for his play Master Class. Mel Gussow, cultural writer for The New York Times, is the author of the biography Edward Albee: A Singular Journey. He has also written books about Harold Pinter, Tom Stoppard, and Samuel Beckett.
