Shall we talk about Seawalk Music Festival?
First Seawalk Music Festival is expected to draw more than 10,000 visitors to Jacksonville Beach every time, making it the city’s largest event since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because of the COVID-19 situation, the festival was initially scheduled for February, but it has now been moved to June. Community First says, “North Florida artists, small businesses, and food vendors affected by the pandemic” will benefit from this year’s festival.

Getting up close and personal and walking at the bottom of the sea with marine life is known as “Sea Walking. Regardless of their swimming ability or fear of the water, anyone can participate. In addition to being a great way to explore the ocean floor, sea walking is also a fun and straightforward way to do so.
Imagine yourself wearing an oxygen helmet around your head, holding the hands of your friends, and walking on the surface of the ocean, where you can get close enough to touch fish and corals. Isn’t it just like a dream now?
It’s like that when you go Sea Walking. It’s a lot of fun, but you must keep in mind that you’re trapped in a gravity-defying helmet that prevents you from floating back to the ground.
Middleburg-based rock band, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is the main attraction on Sunday night.
The event is open for the public, and it’s free, but VIP passes can be purchased for an additional fee. According to the event’s organizers, only a few tickets are left. At least fifty local food and art vendors will be set up along the seawalk.
As a vendor at the festival for the past six years, the Pie Daddy food truck is no stranger to the seafront. Despite this, owner and Jacksonville resident Andrea Davis was eager to open her doors.

In addition to being a family-friendly event, the Community First Seawalk Music Festival has a dedicated children’s entertainment area. For $30.00, you can purchase VIP tickets. It includes front-row seating, private bathrooms, and VIP hospitality backstage. On Saturday, February 26, the festival is open from Noon to 9:00 p.m. On Sunday, February 27, it is available from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Food trucks and restaurants from the area will be on hand, as will popularly craft brews, a kid’s play area, and, for the second year, a Ferris wheel to accompany the live music that will play throughout the afternoon.
“This year, we will present a very eclectic lineup of local musical talent, as well as an increased variety of foods and goods that are locally sourced,” says festival founder Sam Veal. Veal drew inspiration for the Community First Seawalk Music Festival from the local musicians and artists who live and work in the area. When it comes to festivals, Veal says, “This one is unique because it focuses on showcasing the best of our local creative scene.” All-local festivals are important because they foster a strong sense of community by highlighting the many diverse talents that make up our community and sharing those talents in the festival atmosphere.
To emphasize the importance of supporting local artists as the city’s music scene continues to grow, festival organizers want to allow local artists to showcase their talents in a hometown setting. Jax Beach Festivals artistic director Terry Dixon says that “Many of these up-and-coming bands are poised for massive success.” in music. Their stage presence is impeccable, and they have an almost palpable charisma. Because of this, we’re eagerly anticipating the opportunity to give these artists a world-class venue in which they can showcase their talents and attract new audiences.”
With the help of the Community First Credit Union, the first-ever Community First Seawalk Music Festival was held in 2013. Because we support local artists and small businesses, Community First Credit Union sponsors and supports this event,” says John Hirabayashi, the president and CEO of the credit union. All ages and community members are welcome, and admission is free.
